"Where I live!" is an invitation to existential confrontation. It is an effort to bring awareness to our reality that is dominated with displacement, alienation, loneliness, uprooting and to our drive to control the nature, which falls far from the harmony and balance that naturally exist in fauna and flora. The coexistence of different life forms in the exhibition aims to reveal inspiring associations about habitat.

The stability of barnacles with their embracing forms in the face of endless waves evokes a feeling of an inclusive shelter, a support system that represents feminine power. In today’s world of constant migration, barnacles act as representitives of one’s effort in  establishing a permanent home where they are rooted.

Lichens, silent collaborators of rocks and tree trunks, with their symbiotic lifestyle, remind us of the unity in diversity. Their flawless forms, details and delicateness not only provide aesthetic pleasure, but also demonstrate that contrasts can coexist in peace, transcending social constraints.

The existence and subtle forms of coral reefs symbolizes the challenges faced by all living things in an ever-changing world, emphasizing the diversity of our habitat and the need for solidarity to preserve our connection with nature.

Owls, the messengers of ancient knowledge, calls the visitors to reconsider the tranquility of communal life that transcends cultural boundaries, and perhaps invites them to smile a little.
